Since the marriage was not consummated, moreover, it is Brock himself who offers the girl the opportunity to annul the marriage, having the opportunity and the right to do so. To these words, all the efforts that Jill had made so far lost meaning, and delighted to finally be able to express her true feelings, runs to Phillip who does not believe Jill's words about the dissolution of her marriage with Brock and the paternity of the child.
