1975 (#13) - Katherine’s arrangements and Jill and Brock’s wedding

Vivian, informed by Brock, contacts Katherine and convinces her not to give up her personal battle against alcohol. Katherine gladly accepts the woman's advice, as she is already determined to change her life to get her husband back. Katherine found comfort in the Bible during this difficult period and as the weeks went by, she was becoming more and more kind to both Phillip and Jill, who were becoming increasingly guilty towards the woman. Liz and Snapper's prayers to forget Phillip were having their effect, since despite the man's insistence and their overwhelming passion, Jill was now determined to stop seeing Phillip. Katherine, meanwhile, noticed Brock's interest in Jill, and so she encouraged the two of them to start seeing each other. Determined to get over Phillip, Jill agreed to go out with Brock, who surprisingly asked Jill to marry him. Jill, determined to put Phillip behind her and forget him as soon as possible, accepts Brock's proposal without hesitation, and in a short time the wedding, with interested Katherine's help, is organized. Liz and Snapper, happy for Jill's decision, attend the girl's wedding celebration between Jill and an emotional Brock. From the glances with Phillip, it is clear that their love is by no means extinguished; however, it is Phillip himself who accepts that the girl has made such a painful decision for the good of all and resigns himself to straighten out his marriage with Katherine.
