1975 (#11) - Phillip’s decision, Jill feels guilty and Katherine’s offering

A furious Brock almost fights with Phillip when Vivian warns him that Katherine is no longer going to A.A. sessions. Phillip, however, now that his relationship with Jill has emerged, he is no longer going to hide his true feelings by announcing to the boy that he plans to divorce Katherine to be with Jill. It's Brock's turn, then, to deal with his mother's problems, Katherine now back to drinking without restraints and throwing herself into a state of pity. Brock encouraged her to fight for her marriage and return to A.A., as that was the only way to get her life straightened out. Meanwhile, Jill is not expresses her guilt for all the things that are going on. Katherine accuses her of being a home-wrecker, and the girl can't argue with the woman's accusations after all, despite being convinced that her love for Phillip is really genuine. Katherine, meanwhile, visits Liz, her old friend and now an employee at the same company she owns, to inform her that her daughter is destroying her marriage. Liz thus begs her daughter to let Phillip and Katherine solve their problems, believing that her daughter should not seek her happiness in other people's misfortunes; in the end the girl decides to stop seeing Phillip, even though he confesses that he can no longer live without her. It is Katherine that proposes to Jill to leave Genoa City and Phillip; the woman, in fact, offers the girl to pay for her studies in one of the best colleges in the United States. However, Jill, despite Snapper encouraging her to accept, eventually rejects Katherine's offer.
