1975 (#5) - Katherine attends AA meetings and Brock supports her

Everyone at the Chancellor house is happy when Katherine starts attending the meetings to solve her alcohol addiction. Despite her pride and toughness, she bowed to the pressures from Jill and Phillip so that she could stop self-destructing and start a new life. However, it was Brock's return and reconciliation with his son that sparked the woman's desire to start over. Katherine's path would be long and full of pitfalls, Brock also knew it very well, and he never failed to support her and advise her to join the association, so that even specialists could help her. During the sessions, Katherine get to meet new people, including Ralph Olson, with the same problem as her and struggling with the first but important step of rehabilitation: admitting his addiction. Initially, Katherine struggled to fit in, she didn't to be treated like an invalid or a problem, but the sincere words of Vivian Anders, the volunteer who follows the woman's group, struck Katherine and pushed her to sincerely admit her problem and let out all the frustrations, anger and suffering she had inside.
