Some time after the shocking reunion between Lance and Priscilla, Jonas decides to get in touch with Lucas and arrange a meeting with Priscilla, or Leslie depending on what she wants to be called. Lucas thus has time and way to explain to Jonas and Priscilla all the events of their marriage and the birth of their son Brooks; Lucas carefully avoids telling Leslie about Brooks's fatherhood and is disappointed anyway when Leslie remembers nothing of the past. In a subsequent meeting with Lorie and Brooks, Leslie sadly admits that she has lost her memory. Upon learning the situation that Lucas is currently involved with Casey and that Lorie and Lance have welcomed the child into their marriage, Priscilla realizes that everyone has moved on with their lives anyway and that perhaps it is best for everyone that things continue as they are now. So Lorie and Lance manage to get full custody of Brooks from Leslie, since Leslie, or Priscilla, realizes that she cannot be a mother to a child she can't even remember giving birth. Jonas and Priscilla thus strengthen their union, just as Lance and Lorie formalize their family by legally welcoming little Brooks into the house; they all accept the events that fate has reserved for them.

1980 (#29) - Victor's night of love with Eve and Cole's Conception
As the months went by, Victor's financial situation improved day by day. Katherine's company, in fact, from the moment of his arrival, also with the help of the disappearance of the woman, an event that inevitably increased advertising, has achieved extraordinary results, all to the delight of George, who is happy to no longer have Derek around. In fact, Katherine's widower has in fact been excluded from the shares of his deceased wife and this prevents him from seeing Judy with precedent frequency, with whom he soon interrupted what could have been the beginning of a love story. By now, it is only Victor who dominates the company, and it is no coincidence that he constantly receives Judy's attention. As is often the case, however, Victor's fortunes at work receive a negative counterpart in family life. In fact, while Victor is unaware of the strange friendship between Julia and Brock, an old acquaintance of Victor's, Eve Howard, arrives in Genoa City. The girl, once his secretary, was Victor's mistress. The feelings between the two have never disappeared and to testify it is the night of love that they spend as soon as Victor manages to find an excuse for Julia. What Victor does not expect, however, is what he sees the next morning at Eve's house, the woman with a child in her arms. Eve thus informs Victor that Cole is her son, having been conceived six years earlier during a business trip to Acapulco. Victor thus realizes that the woman could put his marriage with Julia in great danger, being then engaged to Julia and close to marriage. However, Victor refuses to recognize his son and to tell the truth to Julia, and even gives a certain amount of money to the woman to get out of town and keep quiet.

1980 (#26) - Heather's birth, April's doubts and Dorothy's revelations.
As the months go by, April's day of childbirth comes closer and closer to the end of the pregnancy. The young woman is excited about the imminent birth of her daughter, and Chris stands by her more and more, reassuring her that she will be a great mother, even though April feels incapable and not ready to raise a child all by herself. Because of this, April begins to seriously consider giving her daughter up for adoption, despite Chris trying to talk her out of it. Meanwhile, still through Chris, April meets Greg and a deep friendship is established between the two of them. Both say they are disappointed by their love life, and Greg can't believe that the Paul who got April pregnant and then ran away is the same one his wife Nikki has always been attracted to. Inevitably, feelings develop between the two of them as a result of the closeness of their characters, even if both stop as soon as there is an exchange of a few kisses between them. On the occasion of the birth, Dorothy and Wayne also return from New York, who can't wait to take the unborn child's arm and get to know the father's identity. April confesses to Chris and Greg that she hasn't yet told their parents that Paul has abandoned her and that she probably will not recognise the baby, so Chris tells April to stand up and confess to her family. Just when April is revealing the truth to her parents, her waters breaks and little Heather comes to light. Everyone is overjoyed at the happy event. Heather thus gives April the strength to confess the truth, and in the end Wayne, cursing Paul, assures her daughter that she will have all the support she needs. She then admits that she is serious about giving the child up for adoption, but Dorothy, overwhelmed by conflicting feelings about the joy of Heather's birth and April's revelations, lets go and impulsively confesses that she gave April's twin sister up for adoption in the past and bitterly regrets it. Dorothy thus asks April not to make a gesture she may later regret. Upset by the news, April, thanks in part to Greg's support, who promises her that he will be by her side, decides to keep Heather, whom she already loves infinitely. Meanwhile, Greg informs a worried Casey how are things going on between her and Nikki, now increasingly distant. Greg in fact seems more and more convinced to want to ask for a divorce from the woman, which increases Casey's worries about her sister.

1980 (#25) - Jonas' help in digging into Priscilla's past and the meeting with Lance
Returning from Santo Domingo, a radiant Lucas informs Stuart, Lorie and Lance that he has recognized a girl named Priscilla as their Leslie; he then says he is sure of the woman's identity, but she doesn't remember anything, or pretends to. Lucas and Lorie try to get in touch with the woman, and Lucas remembers Jonas's name, realizing that he is the owner of the club of the same name. Meanwhile, Priscilla intends to put the meeting with the mysterious man on the jet, who is in fact Lucas, behind her. The episode has however puzzled Jonas, who understands that the girl is hiding something. In the end, Priscilla admits she doesn't remember anything from her previous life and says she doesn't want to think about the past, but only about her present with Jonas, with whom she is increasingly in love. In fact, Piscilla has found joy and happiness in running Jona's with the man and has found great satisfaction in singing there in front of him; through music and the relationship with him, Priscilla has learned not to take life too seriously and therefore decides not to have any interest in knowing her past. However, when Priscilla's doctor informs her at a visit that it is clear that she recently had a baby, the woman changes her perspective from her past, and Jonas promises to help her in every way to remember her previous life, although this could potentially threaten their union and could mean losing her. Meanwhile, Lance goes to Jonas and is shocked to find the woman. Lance is carefully careful not to confess his identity, and when Priscilla shows that she neither recognizes nor remembers who he is, the man leaves convinced that their lives are now meant to be divided.

1980 (#24) - Victor’s unhappy marriage, the deep relationship between Julia and Brock
Arrived in Genoa City for an important assignment at the head of the prestigious Chancellor Industries, Victor is an established and envied successful man who seems to have everything in life: money, power and beauty. Victor in business is a cynical and ruthless person, but he is also gentle and calm. He has great self-confidence, which comes from great willpower and determination in everything he does. Victor is a lover of power and money and, like any successful person, also of women. He has been married for almost three years to a beautiful young woman named Julia Newman, a girl he has known since adolescence and with whom he moves to a luxurious ranch in the suburbs of Genoa City. However, Victor's wonderful life is not regarded in the same way by Julia. Forced to live in a big house yet out of all human contact, Julia spends her days in the company of her faithful butler Charles Martin and the incredible boredom and emptiness she has felt for some years now. Victor is a very jealous and protective man, which is why he never lets her go out alone or practice any hobbies; on the contrary, Victor is always out on business, in his beloved clubs and always returns late at night, probably after spending the night in some nightclub or with some prostitute. The sad life of Julia, not at all happy to have left Buffalo where at least she had her friends, for Genoa City, however, takes a completely unexpected turn with the knowledge of Katherine's son, Victor's great friend, Brock. That man of gentle and calm manners pleasantly surprised the woman, who more and more often receives a visit from the man who, unlike Victor, does not treat her as an object and makes her finally feel alive. The two of them spend entire afternoons together talking about their lives and experiences. Thus, from a simple friendship, a feeling of pure and noble love soon develops between them, but never tainted by mere physical attraction or effusions; and this is also due to Julia's fear of being caught by Victor.

1980 (#23) - The traditional and religious spirit of Carl and the loss of Mary's baby
Fundamental to disrupting the New World Communion sect was Steven's intervention, which allowed the police to intervene. Steven in fact often collaborates with his father Carl, an accomplished detective of the Genoa City police. In arresting the leaders of the sect, and in identifying the participants in the sect, Carl is shocked to learn that Paul is also involved. The Williams family, in fact, is a very traditionalist family and tied to religious principles, and neither Carl nor his wife Mary, Paul and Steven's mother, would easily forgive their son for this. The Williams family, in addition to Steven and Paul, also consists of two other members: Todd, the first of the children and praised by their parents for taking the path of priesthood that took him away from Genoa City, and the youngest teenager Patty, who is still in high school. Steven promises Paul not to reveal anything about his participation in the sect, but he does not hide his regret and disappointment towards his brother. In the meantime, still in the Williams family, everyone is surprised and happy about Mary's new pregnancy, who, as a frequent visitor to the Congregation of the Sacred Heart, has taken this pregnancy, which occurred at a mature age, as a clear gift from the Lord. During one of the numerous and abundant family dinners, Mary being an excellent cook, Paul vents on Steven and Carl, claiming his independence; Steven's fury at his brother's irresponsibility soon becomes a fight that causes Mary's fall. Taken to the hospital, the woman suffers a miscarriage, which upsets Carl and the whole family. Feeling guilty about what happened, Paul spends whole days in the hospital next to his mother, donating blood several times to his mother, who is in mortal danger due to internal bleeding. Luckily Mary finally makes it through, even though there is great pain in her heart for the loss of the child.

1980 (#22) - The clashes in Santo Domingo and Lucas' meeting with Jonas and Priscilla
The excited days in Genoa City spent with Leslie's research unfortunately lead to no results. In addition to the despair over Leslie's disappearance, there is soon the drama underway in Santo Domingo, where there is absolutely no comforting news. In fact, Sebastian Crown, head of the division of Prentiss Industries in the region, informs Lucas and Vanessa about the civil revolution taking place in the country after the military dictatorship took power. Finding the company in great danger, Lucas, who has previous military experience, decides to leave for the island together with a group of army volunteers to fight to protect the local population and his company. Lucas thus provides the funding and the jet to travel to the island. The call to arms is answered by Jonas, who also has a military background; and Priscilla, eager to follow her beloved to the end of the world, despite Jonas' recommendations, decides to leave and sneaks onto the jet. The fighting in Santo Domingo lasted for over a week, in which everyone in Genoa City was in great apprehension. In the end, the attempted coup was thwarted and the danger hanging over the population and the division of Prentiss Industries was stopped. Back on the jet, Lucas doesn't believe his eyes when he recognizes in Priscilla's face his Leslie; Lucas starts talking to the woman who, despite her different look, is evidently his current wife. But when Priscilla is annoyed by Lucas' insistent questions, it is Jonas who intervenes and tells Lucas to stay away from his woman. Lucas, however, returns to Genoa City convinced that he has found the woman.

1980 (#21) - The fight between Derek and Douglas, the cruise and missing of Katherine
Douglas' plan to drive Derek out of Katherine's life and receive the woman's love obviously didn't go as planned. In fact, Katherine accepted the man's advice to contact Victor to replace Derek, but he hadn't expected the woman to arrange a cruise as the second honeymoon. Unable to accept the fact that Derek was preferred over him, Douglas thus decided to give it the last chance and decided to embark on the ship himself. In the meantime, Katherine is happy to have some time with Derek and says she is convinced that the marital problems between them will be resolved in a short time. Derek, however, is not very convinced, being increasingly attracted to Judy. In any case, Derek feels he owes to the woman and wants to really try and give their marriage a new chance. However, when he meets Douglas on the ship, Derek cannot believe his own eyes and, convinced that the woman was able to bring her lover on their honeymoon, in a burst of jealousy and frustration, after risking a fight with Douglas himself, he gets off at the first port of call and immediately returns to Genoa City to Judy. Unaware of everything, Katherine, meanwhile, can't believe the words of the captain and how Derek could have abandoned her during their vacation; and, in a moment of despair, she throws herself off the ship under the desperate eyes of Douglas. He immediately calls Genoa City and warns two upset Victor and Derek of what happened. The woman's search is in vain and after a few days everyone resigns themselves to the loss of Katherine. Some time later, Derek recriminates his share of the woman's inheritance, but Katherine's lawyer, Mitchell Sherman, informs him that, without a body, the legal process to declare Katherine dead would have taken five years. Following Katherine's wishes, Mitchell, as curator of the woman's estate, decides in the meantime to leave Victor in charge of Chancellor.

1980 (#20) - Peggy's investigation, infiltration into the sect, engagement with Steven
Peggy is excited about her work at the Genoa Chronicle and immediately sets to work with her teammate Steven. Peggy, having recently heard a growing alarmism about the spread of satanic cults and sects in the city, decides to make an inquiry into this obscure phenomenon. Steven agrees to address the issue and, despite a worried Stuart strongly advises her not to go into this matter and offers her to deal with lighter and less delicate issues, Peggy's great determination, combined with her thirst for truth typical of the best journalist, make her immediately throw herself body and soul into this investigation. Peggy starts collecting material by wandering around the city, doing interviews and asking for information in the slums of the city. Soon, she learns of the existence of a dangerous sect called Communion of the New World which, with the intention and promise to make its adherents discover the truth and prepare them for their destiny, turns out to be an association that literally leaves its adherents broke, causing not only serious psychological problems, but also financial ones. In the meantime, Greg notices with more and more concern the behavior of his wife, by now a stranger in the house, who goes out regularly every night without saying anything about what she does; so soon Greg is convinced that Nikki has a lover and asks Casey for information, but she is also surprised by it. Meanwhile, Steven and Peggy are satisfied with their investigation, having collected a lot of material; Peggy, however, wants to go further and go inside the sect. So she decides to infiltrate, pretending to be an aspiring adherent. Through an informant, so, Peggy pretends to be interested in participating in the sect and is brought to one of their meetings. All the participants wear a black hooded dress, so Peggy can't see anyone's face. Determined to break up the gang, Peggy contacts the police and so, in a subsequent meeting, tries in every way possible to expose the leaders of the sect, Rebecca Andrews and Sumiko Funai. Rebecca, realizing that Peggy is a spy, warns Sumiko who tries to kill her, but in the end the police intervention ends the fight, thus making numerous arrests. Peggy is overjoyed, having managed to take down an entire gang of criminals and Stuart, despite the big scare, is proud of his daughter as well as Steven himself, who gets carried away by the emotion and kisses Peggy. The two of them, amazed and embarrassed, eventually let themselves go to passion and find themselves attracted more than ever. It doesn't take long before Steven breaks off his relationship with Jill to embark on a new adventure with Peggy.

1980 (#19) - Leslie's amnesia, Priscilla's new identity and her love story with Jonas
A confused and troubled Leslie finds herself, after her new mental breakdown, wandering around the city aimlessly. The collapse suffered after Lorie's revelation has in fact caused Leslie a new loss of memory, which does not allow her to find her way around the city or to remember anything about her life. Lorie, unaware of what happened to her sister after the escape, tries to contact her again in vain and is surprised that she left Brooks with her; only after a few hours she realizes that something might have happened to her and warns Lance, without informing him of the details of the discussion she had with her sister. Lance and Lorie soon warn everyone about Leslie's disappearance and desperately start looking for her with Stuart's help, but without getting any results. Meanwhile, a shocked and frightened Leslie finds herself in a place familiar to her: Jona's bar, once her The Allegro. With a sign and completely renovated, Leslie is unable to associate the place with her bar and finds herself completely lost. She is noticed by Jonas himself, unaware that she is the former owner of the bar, because he has never seen her having closed the deal with Brock. Jonas's is immediately struck by the beauty of the girl, asks her name but Leslie not remembering her identity, says her name is Priscilla Clark. An immediate bond is formed between the two and the man shows himself capable of instilling in Leslie that confidence and trust that she cannot find on her own. Convinced that the woman doesn't want to talk about her past and wants to go on with her life, Jonas doesn't ask Leslie any questions and decides to host her at his place, soon starting an affair with her. As the days go by, Leslie dyes her hair becoming blonde, which complicates Stuart's and his family's search. Meanwhile, the new Priscilla becomes the club's leading singer and increasingly strengthens her union with Jonas, with whom she soon falls in love.

1980 (#18) - The rapprochement of Nikki to Paul and the New World Communion
In the meantime, the consequences of recent events falls on Greg and Nikki's marriage. The man, remembering the warnings given to Nikki about her job and the dangerousness of that environment, is unable to forgive his wife for what happened to Liz, who is slowly recovering after the operation on her femur. Snapper, more than Stuart, is furious about what Nikki did and he's also angry at Greg for being able to marry someone as bad as her. Greg tries to defend his wife by playing on her immaturity, but in the end he realizes that he is not currently in a position to take her defense, being angry with her himself. It's natural, therefore, that the couple is going through a bad moment in their relationship, with Nikki recovered from the accident but feeling guilty for the attack and also disappointed by Greg's attitude of not taking a stand in her defense, now that everyone in the family sees her as the only real problem. It's in this mood that Nikki casually meets up with Paul. The two of them remember the old days and talk openly about the latest developments in their lives. Nikki tells about the mess she got into with the story of her job at the fashion agency, and Paul tells her about, although vaguely, the end of the love-story with April and the venereal disease. Paul also admits to Nikki, that he also felt the same way she feels, that it's without a goal or purpose in life, but that he has now been able to open his eyes and find fulfilment. He then confesses to Nikki that he has entered the New World Communion, an association whose purpose is to open ourselves up to the truth and to prepare us for life's only true purpose, which is to return to the stars. Nikki is completely skeptical of Paul's words, but in the end the girl's naivety, in addition to Paul's oratory qualities and the influence that Paul has over her as her first love, convince her to try to go to one of their sessions. Soon Nikki becomes a regular follower of the New World Communion, which turns out to be nothing more than a sect.

1980 (#17) - Vincent and Rose's arrest, the failed attack on Greg and Liz's injury
When Greg reads the letter, the man can't believe his wife's words and immediately runs to look for her. He is only informed after a few hours of her car accident and the resultant hospitalization. Here the doctors inform Greg, in great apprehension, that Nikki is in serious danger but that in any case after a long convalescence she will be able to get back in shape. Greg thus informs Nikki, in one of his rare moments of lucidity, that he has forgiven her and confirms all his love for her. He then decides to get in touch with the police to investigate Vincent and Rose and finally do justice. It didn't take long for the police to believe Greg and to discover the real activity of Vincent and Rose, who soon end up back in jail. Tony Baker is thus released, his charge being reduced from murder to simple theft, and Walter's memory is somehow overshadowed by his red-light passions. Justice seems done and a beaming Greg informs Nikki, who is slowly recovering, that he has made things right. However, Vincent and Rose, before returning to prison, wanted to ensure their personal revenge by hiring a killer to kill Greg. A few weeks later, so while walking with his mother Liz, Greg is attacked by a hooded armed ranger who starts shooting. In the attack, Greg is saved, but Liz is hit in the femur and falls to the ground in pain. Taken urgently to the hospital, the woman is luckily declared immediately out of danger for the joy of all, who can't wait to put this sad chapter behind them.

1980 (#16) - Victor and the management at Chancellor Industries of Katherine
As time goes by, the first data regarding the company's performance begin to give reason to George's doubts and perplexities. Since Derek's leadership of Chancellor Industries, in fact, there have been sharp declines in the company's performance. These results lead Katherine to reflect on the validity of her decision, and George's pressure for a change in management persuades her to listen more and more to an experienced businessman like Douglas. He and his partner Everett Thornton then suggested that Katherine should contact Victor Newman, a great friend of theirs and a valued manager who could resurrect the fortunes of any business. However, not wanting to cause her husband great displeasure, Katherine decided to make a decision that would solve both her main problems, financial and emotional. So she decides to give a new boost to her marriage by taking a break from work together with Derek to make a new honeymoon away from Genoa City. At the same time, she decides to contact Victor to ask him to run the company during their absence. Victor responds positively to the call, happy to move to his luxury ranch in Genoa City with his friend Douglas. 1980 (#15) - The hospitality of Lorie, the cohabitation with Lance, the collapse of Leslie
Happy and convinced more than ever of their love, Lance and Lorie, after the Parisian parenthesis and the awkward presence of Monique, live happy and serene moments. It is precisely Lorie's conviction that nothing could separate her from Lance, which convinces her to propose to the man the possibility of hosting Leslie and little Brooks in their home, convinced that her sister might need help now that she has separated from Lucas. Lorie then proposes to Leslie to come and live with them, so that she can raise Brooks in a family environment. Initially skeptical, Leslie refuses Lorie's help, but soon is convinced when Lorie reassures her that it's not a problem for Lance and that she wants to make herself useful for her sister. In the end, Leslie, whose feelings for Lance have never completely faded, accepts the invitation, intrigued by this new adventure. However the problems that this difficult cohabitation promises to bring out, comes into surface. Lorie shows jealousy of the understanding between Lance and Leslie, and invites her not to take advantage of the hospitality by trying to steal her husband; at the same time, Leslie feels increasingly uncomfortable with the presence of Lance, to whom she feels increasingly attracted, and begins to feel a sense of suffocation and stress that inevitably falls on the child. Leslie thus makes the decision to leave town and informs Lorie that she has decided to leave with Brooks so as not to cause problems to her marriage. Convinced that Lorie is happy about her sister's choice, Leslie is shocked when Lorie begins to insinuate that the baby should stay with her and Lance, Lance being the baby's father after all. At this point, Leslie is shocked to learn that Lorie is also aware of the truth, and runs away before suffering a sudden new mental breakdown.

Nikki tries to explain the whole dynamic and that Walter died exclusively of a heart attack, but Rose doesn't want to hear the girl speak anymore and decides to fire her on the spot. Back home, frightened and bitter, Nikki is shocked to learn that her husband Greg has just been assigned to defend Tony Baker, accused of the murder of Walter Addison. So Nikki cannot believe that her unsuspecting husband has been called to defend the very man accused of murder for the death for which she is responsible, Walter's death. She decides not to make any more references to her old job and to let things go their own way, but it is not long before Rose herself contacts Nikki, having discovered that Tony's lawyer is her husband. So Rose and Vince threaten to kill her in case she can't convince him to send Tony to jail. This is a request that Nikki promises to fulfill, even though she has absolutely no idea how to do it, because Greg won't let her interfere with his work in any way. Scared and desperate, Nikki then decides to do the only thing possible: run away. Before doing so, she writes a passionate letter to Greg in which she tells him all the facts that have happened, from her involvement in Walter's death to the true nature of the prostitution ring that hides Rose and Vincent's fashion agency, before asking Greg's forgiveness and once again professing his love. Rose and Vincent thus provide Nikki with the address of the place where the service is to be carried out, and the girl's enthusiasm grows out of all proportion when she realizes she has to work in a luxurious villa, owned by the wealthy Walter Addison. And this time, without tricks, secrets, or plots. At Stuart's wedding Jill meets Steven Williams, a journalist from the Genoa Chronicle of which Stuart is ,as we know, the publisher. Steven is Paul's older brother, but compared to him, he's a completely different person. He shares Paul's straightforwardness, determination and tough character; but unlike Paul, Steven is driven by an honest, kind and loyal soul. It doesn't take Jill long before she starts to get curious about the man and want to keep seeing him; and Steven is also pleasantly impressed by the girl, who is extremely beautiful, sweet and gentle. So the two of them start dating for a while. Meanwhile, Stuart tries to convince Peggy to keep the promise he made to Liz before their wedding, to stay in town. Peggy reminds her father that in San Francisco, where she recently finished college, she now has a life of friends and many people who love her, but Stuart insists that here in Genoa City there is her family and, if she wants, her job. Stuart proposes to the aspiring journalist Peggy to join the editorial staff of the Genoa Chronicle and Peggy, enthusiastic embraces her father and anxiously accepts the offer. Already on her first day of work, therefore, Peggy meets Steven himself, with whom she will work together, and she is literally overwhelmed. The situation does not please Jill, who is quite jealous but at the same time not at all worried about young Peggy's competition.
