1991 (#29) - The rivalry between Jill and Leanna for the conquest of John

Having put aside, at least in recent times, her rivalry with Katherine, there really seems to be no peace for Jill, who now finds herself a new bitter rival, at least in love: Leanna. After having both fought for Rex's heart until a few months ago, the two now find themselves competing for John's love. On the one hand, Jill is convinced that she knows exactly what to offer John to make him happy, knowing him perfectly and being convinced that their destiny is to be together. On the other hand, Leanna is convinced that because John knows her rival too well, he will never accept to be with her again. The first round of this battle is won by Leanna, who convinces John to be her date at the charity ball organized by himself. The news is greeted by Jill with great dismay, unable to believe how John could have chosen Leanna over her. However, time clearly plays in Jill's favor, since, much to Leanna's chagrin, she fails to get pregnant despite artificial insemination. Now that John's main reason for preferring Leanna, i.e. to raise the woman's child, no longer exists, Jill thinks she has the man in the palm of her hand, who laughs under his moustache and enjoys the two women fighting, insulting each other and almost coming to blows over him. John, who already knows inside himself that he will choose Jill, having never been able to resist her, is amused by the fact that the woman is jealous of Leanna; to add further spice to the competition, John informs Jack that he intends to get married soon, although he is not yet sure to whom. Convinced that he will soon marry her, Jill becomes more and more enterprising towards the man, who, however, is also sought by a Leanna who is certainly not intimidated by Jill's attacks; on the contrary, she raises her hand, proposing to John, after the failure of the artificial insemination, to conceive a child the old-fashioned way, showing that she is ready to go against her principles in order to be with him.
