1989 (#2) - Nina's change of heart, Jill's opposition and Phillip Jr.'s proposal

In the Chancellor estate, meanwhile, the transformation of Nina by Katherine is now complete. The girl, thanks to the advice of two satisfied Christine and Katherine has assumed an enviable elegance and poise; it is time, at this point, to put the plan to the test by having the girl meet Phillip Jr. When the boy contacts Christine for a date, then, the girl makes sure to send Nina in his place, anxious to meet Phillip Jr and check the boy's reaction to her sight. After a difficult start, with Phillip Jr very annoyed by Christine's behavior, the couple spend a pleasant evening and the boy admits to finding Nina very different, definitely more attractive. And so the two of them, when Christine informs Phillip Jr that she sees no future for them, start dating. Nina's dream then becomes reality when, surprisingly, Phillip Jr asks her to marry him in order to unite their family and raise little Chance between the love of his parents. The news of the upcoming wedding makes both Katherine and Christine very happy, eager to help an excited Nina organize her fairytale wedding. Less enthusiastic about the situation is Jill, who has never appreciated Nina and who encourages Chase to make another attempt with her. The boy, who has put aside his ambitions towards Christine, completely devoted to Danny, decides to play his cards close to his heart to try to break off the wedding, despite all his attempts are in vain.
