1993 (#4) - Sheila's return and the night between Brad and Lauren

Despite Lauren's high expectations, the marriage with Scott is not as happy as the woman would have expected. Between the two, the old passion of the past has disappeared and Lauren feels that, despite everything, Sheila has left too big a wound in Scott's heart. The man, in fact, is unable to put the whole thing behind him and, despite all the pain it has caused her, still suffers from the death of the woman. In fact, as we know, she is not dead at all and is trying to recreate a new life in Los Angeles with Eric Forrester, whom she seduced by taking advantage of her babysitting job. The woman, however, has not forgotten that she has a score to settle with Lauren and, fearing that the woman's revelations could compromise her happiness with Eric, she returns to the city to silence her forever. With only a few days to go before her wedding to Eric, in fact, Sheila realizes that something could still ruin all her plans and that therefore she must make sure that Lauren does not reveal anything about her past. Sheila, thus, goes to Genoa City, revealing herself for the first time to her mother. Molly, shocked to find the daughter she thought was dead in front of her, reminds her that Lauren will never be willing to forgive her. Molly, however, under Sheila's insistent questions confides that Lauren, although recently remarried to Scott, is probably having a clandestine relationship with Brad, who now works at Fenmore. Brad, despite being engaged to Ashley, finds himself consoling Lauren for all her misadventures and one night, drunk by now, they end up making love. Both regretting having betrayed the trust of Ashley and Scott, Brad and Lauren decide not to see each other anymore. Brad, in fact, is intent on staying with Ashley, while Lauren's priority is to raise little Scotty with his father Scott. What Lauren absolutely does not imagine is that Sheila has been secretly following the woman and has photographed the couple while they are caught up in passion, ready to use this evidence to silence Lauren once and for all.
