1993 (#2) - The end of the flirt with Victor and the marriage between Jill and John

Although they both agree to break off their relationship, confirming that they are both in love with Nikki and John respectively, to whom they have every intention of committing themselves, Victor and Jill secretly continue to see each other regularly. Their meetings, never public but exclusively passionate, soon become an outlet for both of them, who throw away all their stress and misunderstandings, worries, fears and fears. Both freely confide in each other all their thoughts and anxieties, thus freeing their souls as happens during religious confession. However, as often happens in a couple who are dating and deny that they are in love with each other, one of the two people is lying. And it is in this case that Jill soon finds herself admitting to herself that she is beginning to feel something towards the man, who has all the characteristics she looks for in a man, except for a character that is perhaps too strong, hard and decisive, and for that reason too close to her own. Jill soon begins to put John second in her thoughts to Victor, whom she hopes is about to ask her to be his wife. However, when during one of their meetings, the man unknowingly hurts the woman by insisting that this is just a pleasant adventure for him and nothing else, Jill's heart is shattered. The woman confesses that she had hoped for something more between them and, at this point, decides to stop seeing Victor. A wound Jill, thus, immediately tries to forget the adventure with Victor by focusing on John, with whom she has no trouble reconciling. The woman admits to the man that she was romantically involved with Victor, but realized that she only wants John in her life. The man, happy to have the woman back around, admits to her and to himself that he is now hopelessly in love with her and they both agree on the need to get married as soon as possible. Not even two weeks later, John and Jill celebrate their wedding in an intimate ceremony in the living room of Abbott's house, exchanging for the second time their promises to love each other for eternity. This marriage obviously leaves all of John's children dismayed; but if Traci and Ashley eventually decide to respect their father's wishes, supporting Jill who is adamant that her life and John's will remain united with or against the wishes of her children, it is Jack who is particularly unwilling to digest this new union. Jack's anger, however, is finally appeased by John himself, who confesses that he made Jill sign a prenuptial agreement whereby she renounces all of the Abbotts' assets in the event of a divorce: at least, Jack's inheritance is not in danger!
