1990 (#24) - The annulment of the union with Jill and the divorce of Rex and Katherine

After saving her estate and repairing the damage done by Clint during his imprisonment, Katherine's concern turns entirely to her marriage to Rex. When Mitchell confirms to the woman that Rex's union with Jill is null and void, her divorce with Rex being invalid, which was obviously signed by Marge, a satisfied Katherine does not hesitate to reveal this to two disappointed Rex and Jill. This realistic consideration, also suggested by her wise son Brock, leads Katherine not to oppose Rex's new request for a divorce and to respect his engagement to Jill, with whom he seems sincerely in love. Both thrilled with Katherine's decision, Jill thanks the woman, admitting that she has changed for the better in all these years and hopes the two can become friends.
