1987 (#1) - Rose's threats to Christine and Paul and Danny's intervention

Despite trying in every way to move on, these are difficult times for Nina, who cannot stop suffering from the news of her baby's death. Christine, Karen, Molly and Danny are all gathered around her and cling to her grief trying, in vain, to comfort her. Christine, meanwhile, tells Karen all the facts that have happened recently and, in particular, she tells many details about Rose and her single mothers center and, together, they discover with great astonishment that Rose has a criminal record and is a very dangerous woman. When they ask questions about Rose's and her team's behavior, Karen and Christine become even more suspicious, finding strange that continuous psychological pressure Rose has adopted too often to make the girls give up the idea of having a baby. Finding then strange Rose's sudden change of attitude when she learned from Nina that she would not have an abortion, Christine is convinced that in reality Nina's baby may not be dead at all. Karen, Christine and Nina went to Rose to confront her harshly. Rose denies any accusations, but in the end she is forced to admit that she gave the baby away and that, after all, she did so in a completely legal way, having Nina previously signed the adoption documents. When Karen begins to ask more specific questions about her own business, Rose's partial answers suggest that her adoption process is not entirely legal. However, Rose insists that Aidan is now happy and has a family and love that Nina could never have given him. Then, frightened that her illegal trafficking might come out, Rose orders Vince to tie up the women. Dr Felix is about to sedate the girls just as Danny and Paul break in, who manage to save everyone despite Rose getting away and getting away with it.
