Forced to hide from justice and mafia organizations,Rose de Ville returns to Genoa City after a few years. The volcanic, cruel and bargaining woman, who has always sided with crime to make easy money, this time decides to open a house for teenage mothers that, apparently, should give comfort to young pregnant teenagers but, in reality, hides an organization well infiltrated in the black market of illegal adoptions. Helping her are the trusty Vince Holliday, who actually acts as a bodyguard, and Dr. Felix Burke, who assists the girls during pregnancy and childbirth. Nina's arrival makes Rose happy, and she is immediately ready to take advantage of the girl's state of mind to organize an easy adoption; however, she is reluctant to accept Molly into the house, making the girl understand that there is no room for her. Actually, Rose and Felix, noting that Molly's pregnancy is not yet in an advanced stage, consider it costly to keep the girl for all this time; but when Nina intimates Rose to find a place for Molly otherwise she too would have left, also saying that she is willing to share a room with her, Rose is forced to accept Molly's arrival. As the months go by, the time of Nina's baby's birth approaches. Meanwhile, Rose meets a married couple, Fred and Helen Lansings, who are desperate to adopt a baby and are unable to have children; Rose, thinking of Nina's baby's next birth, announces to them that, in exchange for a sum of money, they can legally obtain their baby.
