Despite the end of Jack and Patty's relationship, things between Jill and the man are certainly not getting better. In fact, Jack did not appreciate Jill's behavior at all, and she did everything she could to hinder his union with Patty. Jill's advances, finally free to seduce the man, then find as an obstacle both the habits of Jack, convinced womanizer and not at all ready to enter into a stable relationship, and the same omissions of Jill about her son Phillip Jr., whose existence was not known to Jack and who certainly has no plans to become a step father. When Jill realizes that there is no chance of becoming what Mrs. Abbott had hoped for, Jill begins to think she can at least get something financially worthwhile out of this experience at Jabot Cosmetics. Jill then contacts a well-known competitor to propose to them, hoping to get a job with her experience and knowledge of the rival company. When Jack finds out about Jill's application, however, he literally goes into a rage and threatens to sue the woman. Surprisingly, however, it is Jill herself who is suing Jack, through her brother Greg and the support of Snapper, tired of seeing how the man treats his sister at work for alleged sexual harassment. Jack responds by firing the woman. Jill knows she can't prove the sexual harassment she's been subjected to, but Greg and Snapper still ask Jack for the incredible amount of $1 million. When the judge then declares the dismissal null and void and orders Jill's reinstatement at Jabot, it is the same Jill, now completely incompatible with her job at Jabot next to Jack, who resigned from the company, saving her pride, her dignity and, above all, coming out of it with a lavish financial reward of one hundred thousand dollars resulting from the agreement with Jack.
