1978 (#18) - Leslie's resignation and marriage in Seattle with Lucas

A now resigned and depressed Leslie tries in every way to forget her love Lance, in spite of everything, including the baby she's bearing. Not being able to stand the comparison with the vision of two happy Lance and Lorie, Leslie, not before ordering Vanessa not to reveal anything about the fatherhood of the child, decides to forget the man by dedicating herself to her only real passion that can give her a smile: music. Upon the advice of maestro Ernesto Fautsch, she decided to go on a new concert tour. To follow her, surprisingly, is Lucas, who offers support and encouragement to the girl. During their travels and concerts, the two get to know each other more and more, and they realize that they both feel pain for the reunion of the couple formed by Lance and Lorie: Lucas, in fact, is also in love with Lorie and is forced to forget her. Leslie confirms the man's suspicions about the paternity of the child, and is comforted by Lucas. Feeling closer than ever, and united by the pains of love, Lucas surprisingly proposes to Leslie to create a family for the unborn child and to try to forget, together, their pain.
