1974 (#15) - Leslie’s amnesia and her hospitalization in a psychiatric facility

A confused Leslie finds herself wandering around New York when she's attacked and robbed. She wakes up the next morning in Central Park, realizing the theft but unable to remember. The mental breakdown has clearly caused a loss of memory for Leslie, who soon finds herself wandering aimlessly until she is noticed by a policeman and taken to the hospital under the fictitious name of Jane Doe and, only afterwards, transferred to a ward with other mentally ill women. Only a few days later the doctor who is treating Leslie understands who the woman is, having recognized her through an advertising photo in a newspaper. The doctor thus gets in touch with the worried Stuart, in apprehension with his whole family about his daughter's fate. Together with Jennifer they immediately fly to New York to bring her home. Once back in Genoa City, Stuart and Jennifer agree on taking their daughter to a psychiatric center, making sure that no one knows about Leslie's nervous breakdown, nor suspects anything: all this in order to preserve the woman's privacy and not make her suffer possible negative repercussions.
