1974 (#14) - Prostitution, Gwen enduring violence and Greg reporting the crime

With Greg's help, Gwen tries leave her prostitution business, despite her exploiters efforts to stop it. The threats and violence of her pimps, in fact, scare the girl, forced to continue accepting clients. When Gwen decides to find a decent job, working as a waitress at Pierre's restaurant, now run by Marianne, she seems to have finally managed to move on, but soon she is brutally attacked. She is immediately taken to the hospital and Greg is relieved when he is reassured about the girl's condition. The physical force used by the attackers succeeds in putting pressure on the young woman in order to terrorize her and make her desist from all her attempts of rebellion. By then resigned to a life of violence, Gwen asks Greg to leave her to her fate, confessing that she is afraid that her pimps may hurt him too, as she has already received threats. Greg, however, not intimidated at all, tries several times to convince Gwen to press charges against her exploiters and her former boss Warner Wilson. Eventually Gwen decides to report her exploiters who, thanks also to Greg's investigation, are arrested. Broke up the gang of pimps and brought to light the prostitution business, Gwen finally finds herself free to love Greg. This allows the two of them to live their great love story in happiness and without any more problems.
