1989 (#6) - Lauren's feelings and the cohabitation agreement between Brad and Traci

Jack and two exhausted Lauren and Brad, after the misadventure experienced due to Lisa's madness, finally return to Genoa City. Brad, weak and malnourished, asks the two to see his wife Traci again after a long time, who is shocked to learn the truth about Lisa's kidnapping. Brad's condition, however, immediately appears critical, so much so that the man collapses to the ground right in front of the woman. Taken to the hospital, the man thus begins a long journey of healing and rehabilitation. At this moment, everyone is close to the man, including the seminal enemy himself, Jack, who this time seems very close to changing his judgment on the man. Strong is also the closeness of Lauren, who shows that she still has feelings for man while, a bit surprisingly, is more detached the reaction of Traci, who seems to have decided to move on with her life and marry Tim. So, as soon as he regains consciousness, Traci informs the man that he has started divorce proceedings; this episode, which triggers a violent argument between Lauren and Traci herself, guilty in her opinion of the timing and inappropriate ways in which she is liquidating her marriage and is treating a sick man. Brad, once discharged from the hospital, asks Traci to meet; the woman, who believes that Brad wants to sign the documents, is surprised when Brad asks him for a second chance; in particular, she asks Traci for a two-month period of cohabitation to see if it is possible to revive their love. In case it doesn't work, or in any case Traci thinks it's not worth it, at the end of this period Brad will sign without any opposition or dispute his divorce from Traci, who reluctantly, is forced to accept Brad's request to avoid a violent judicial struggle. A fight that Jack and John loudly advise their daughter to avoid, since it could result in the loss of a large part of their assets to Brad. The man, meanwhile, is overjoyed by this possibility and convinced that he will be able, in the next two months, to make the woman fall in love with him again and thus permanently remove Tim's presence in the latter's life. In the meantime, Traci herself finds herself forced to reassure an increasingly impatient Tim, who sees himself forced to postpone his wedding with the woman.
