1989 (#23) - The plan of jealousy with Ashley and the divorce between Brad and Traci

The first weeks of the forced cohabitation between Brad and Traci go by without the man being able to regain the woman's trust, nor to undermine his relationship with Tim. Traci, in fact, seems really in love with Tim, to whom she continuously promises that they will soon get married; and not knowing what to do, Brad begins to consider the idea of prematurely interrupting the experiment. However, it is perhaps fate that gives Brad a hand and gives him a chance. Having found themselves talking to Ashley again, the two get to know each other much better than they ever did, and they discover they have a lot in common. And when Ashley admits that she hopes Traci opens her eyes and realizes what she's letting go, she offers Brad an agreement on a plan to make Traci believe again: pretending to be interested in each other to make his sister jealous. That said, the two of them exchange their first kiss. As the days go by, Ashley is increasingly frequenting Brad and Traci's house, and she is shocked to surprise them as they kiss. Ashley and Brad, pretending to be amazed by the reaction, ask Traci what is wrong, but the woman immediately chases Ashley out of the house, showing a satisfied Brad that she still has feelings for him; and in fact, the sight of Brad kissing Ashley has awakened in Traci a feeling that seemed dormant. It is once again the case, then, to bring Brad and Traci even closer, when Tim is forced to go to New York on Traci's behalf, having to speak with a possible editor. During Tim's absence, Brad decides to try everything and so he seduces Traci, who convinces him to stop the divorce proceedings. The news does not please Tim at all, who, completely enraged, decides to stay in New York and forget the woman forever. What neither Brad nor Ashley have considered, however, is that, in an attempt to make Traci jealous, a powerful attraction between the two could arise. And so, just as a radiant Traci is beginning to reconsider her relationship with Brad, with whom she finds herself in love, the woman realizes that Brad is beginning to enjoy her sister's company a little too much. And so, when Ashley and Brad are caught in highly intimate attitudes, an enraged Traci immediately retraces her steps announcing and getting a divorce from Brad, forced to sign without having the chance to oppose it.
