1987 (#11) - Katherine’s role in Skip flirt and the breakup with Michael

Representing Jill legally in her judicial battle against Katherine for custody of Phillip Jr. is, of course, Michael, who has been engaged to the woman for over a year. During this time, Katherine tries in every way to put this relationship in trouble, knowing the legal skills of the young and charming lawyer. Knowing that Skip is going through a difficult period of misunderstandings with Carol, who has always been attracted by Jack, Katherine tries to bring the man closer to Jill. Therefore, numerous periods of tension are set in motion between Jill and Michael, more and more jealous of the friendship between Jill and Skip, who doesn't want to know more about Carol. This, meanwhile, is taken by Jack, who is not interested in a relationship with the girl but who doesn't mind having fun with her. The constant quarrels between Michael and Jill are obviously also reflected in the judicial situation, as when Michael refuses to appear in court to defend Jill out of revenge. In the end, when Jack gets tired of his dating Carol, she gets back involved with Skip, who forgives the girl and makes it clear that there is only a strong friendship with Jill. Jill's judicial defeat, however, prevents her to make peace with Michael; on the contrary, it provokes important reflections also in the private life of the couple and a deep incurable break. Jill accuses Michael of not having done everything to protect Phillip Jr.'s custody, while the man accuses Jill of an excessive commitment to Jabot, with obvious explicit references to the possibility for Jill to see Skip, which has pushed them further and further away. So Michael's extreme attempt to re-establish the relationship with a sudden marriage proposal to Jill is useless: the girl has now decided to end the relationship.
