1986 (#23) - The wedding between Brad and Traci and the joining in Jabot Corporations

As the months go by, the relationship between Traci and Brad continues unhindered. Traci is fonder of the man than ever before, while he continues to work as a gardener and to date the last of John's daughters. Brad's plans, however, predict that he will soon stop gardening the Abbotts and become a member of the family himself. Eager to obtain the family fortune, Brad gives a ring to a delighted Traci, apologizing for not being able to afford a diamond, but asking her to become his wife. Traci is speechless and immediately accepts the proposal not believing her eyes; the girl embraces Brad, happy with how her plan is working. The news of Brad and Traci's upcoming wedding leaves everyone by surprise, with Mamie and Ashley a bit worried about the rush of the two sweethearts, who schedule the wedding the following week. John himself asks his daughter why they have to rush off like this, but Traci feels no reason, and in the end they all accept that the happy event is approaching. Obviously, everyone except Jack, who still doesn't show the slightest confidence in Brad and is worried that the man might hurt his little sister to whom he is very attached; nevertheless, in the end, Jack promises Traci to be present at the wedding, despite being forced not to be seen by John, who has officially banned him from the family. Jack, in fact, continues to hope that one day he will be able to reconcile with his father, and that he will forgive him even though he now refuses to even look at him. So the long-awaited day arrives, and Traci and Brad solemnly pronounce their vows before God in a very intimate ceremony, beginning a new journey together under the happy gaze of all the guests. As time went by, Traci and Brad's married life went on smoothly and John thanked Brad for bringing happiness and serenity back into his daughter's eyes; and that's why he decided to bring him into the company's administration, right where Jack previously held the position of sales manager. This move of John's only makes Jack angry, convinced more and more than ever that Brad is a gold digger and a manipulator. Brad himself is overjoyed at his successful corporate ascent and the excellent economic position he has achieved; but it's not just his interests that make him happy, as he realizes what a special family the Abbotts are, who have welcomed him with complete confidence. In addition, Brad also realizes that he is beginning to have sincere feelings for Traci, and is increasingly convinced that this will be his life. At the same time, he grows in him the contempt for Jack, that this life of his has been able to despise and ruin it, showing no respect for the surname he has.
