1985 (#12) - The musical understanding of Danny and Lauren and the jealousy of Paul

Having left Traci's marriage heartbroken after her abortion, and vanished the dream of being with Patty, considered responsible for the misfortune and left Genoa City, Danny can only console himself with his lifelong passion, music. So he decides to return to the musical activity in style, reforming his band and immersing himself body and soul in his life as a rock star. To participate in the group is obviously also called the newlywed Lauren, excited to return to sing. The band, a regular guest at Gina's, is as always a great success, so much so that they have a new fanclub, this time led by young Shawn Garrett, and numerous dates for the upcoming summer tour. It was the tour that created the first problems in Paul and Lauren's marriage. Paul, aware of the fact that Lauren has always had a soft spot for Danny, is afraid that the two of them might start a new spark, and he's not lacking in jealousy. Lauren, however, reassures her husband that there can never be anything more with Danny. In the meantime, Mary also supports Paul by criticizing Lauren's decision to leave for the tour and abandon her husband for a long time; however, Lauren once again remedies this by hiring her husband as the group's bodyguard, so that the two can spend a lot of time together even during the trips.
