1984 (#3) - The disagreements between Dina and Jill and Katherine's plastic surgery

John's decision to propose Ashley as president of Jabot, obviously makes Dina happy, who hopes that the union with Eric will lead to the possibility of joining the company despite the exclusion decided for the moment by John. But it's not just economic interests that link Dina to John. The woman, in fact, no longer hides the hope of being able to reunite her family through a reconciliation with her ex-husband. This reconciliation, passes through a much hoped-for divorce with Jill, seen by the woman as a real stranger to the family and a true gold digger. Dina obviously agrees with the housekeeper Mamie, a valuable ally of John's ex-wife, who has been convinced since the first day Jill set foot in Villa Abbott that the woman is exclusively interested in the family's money. Jill, feeling constantly threatened and attacked by the presence of the two women in the house, constantly asks John to be respected, which the man punctually urges the two women to do. However, Jill is disappointed by the feeling between John and Dina, who happily accepts John's proposal to stay in town and move in with them for good. Meanwhile, another historical enemy of Jill's, Katherine, appears intent on changing her life. Feeling less and less attractive, and seeing the weight of the years showing on her face in the form of wrinkles, the woman decides to turn to Dr. Alan Jacobs, an expert in plastic surgery, for a facelift. The man initially advises the woman simply to live more calmly and serenely her maturity, being convinced that the marks on her face are caused exclusively by stress; but when Katherine turns to Jill for a break in their rivalry, the woman laughs at Katherine's request, saying that the wrinkles appearing on her face, caused by orgies and alcohol taken in all the previous years, are beginning to make themselves visible. Katherine responds to the accusations in a no less cruel manner, threatening to remove little Phillip from her will. Katherine, however, hurt by the woman's words and believing that eliminating stress and hatred by changing her lifestyle is impossible, returns to Dr. Jacobs and asks him to proceed with the facelift.Immediately after the surgery, Katherine appears perplexed by the success of the operation, but Alan urges her to wait a few days to see the first results, which soon arrive and rejuvenate the woman's face and mood. During her convalescence, finally, it was Brock's return that made her happy, happy to have her son by her side ready to take care of her again.
