Arrived in the French capital, Leslie amazes everyone with her performance, and is a great success. However, all the attention is focused on Lorie, who shows her incredible beauty to the evening by capturing the attention of the director Jean-Paul Vauban, who convinces himself that he wants to pursue his project for a film on the book of the "In the shadow of my sister". Jean-Paul and Lorie flirt and live a romantic holiday in the Parisian city; Lorie's intention to make Lance jealous, therefore, succeeds perfectly, since the man decides not to return to Genoa City, willing to forget all his bitterness. Moreover, Lance's decision also depends on the discovery of Leslie's role in the sale of Lucas' shares to Victor; disappointed by the woman, throughout her stay in Paris Lance behaved coldly with her, communicating his decision not to return to the United States at the end of the trip. The decision disappoints Leslie, who feels guilty for not having sold him the Prentiss shares; while not insisting that Lance return with her, she understands that she has feelings for the man and therefore cannot continue her marriage with Lucas, which proved once again to be a farce: back in Genoa City, then, Lucas and Leslie decide to divorce by mutual agreement.
