1981 (#15) - Jonas and Casey’s moment, the rock star Danny and Patty's fanclub

Both disappointed by the end of their stories with Lucas and Leslie respectively, Casey and Jonas first acquaintance have place when the woman enters the bar run by him. Between the two of them, who only know each other by sight, immediately they click and this leads them at first to hang out and then dating regularly. Casey smiles back and encourages the boy to come out of his depression over the loss of Leslie by focusing energies on her and his bar. Meanwhile, after Steve's failed marriage and the departure of Steve, as well as the turbulent events involving Paul and his marriage to April, the Williams family has certainly not ended this very intense year. The worries of Carl and Mary, in fact, soon move on to their youngest daughter, Patty, who lives that delicate moment between youth and adulthood. In her final year of high school, Patty caused her family a lot of concern because of her rebellious and independent character, far removed from the traditionalist and Christian values of their parents. In fact, Patty is often criticized by her parents for her extravagant clothing and her passion for rock and metal; criticisms that often turn into discussions that cause, in particular, a further closure of Patty towards her parents. Patty's idol is the famous young rock star Danny Romalotti, at his first experiences as a singer but already well known and loved by teenagers. Upon hearing the news that Danny has just been hired at Jona's, a hiring favored by Casey's suggestion to Jonas, with whom Danny has signed a contract to perform regularly at the club, Patty literally goes into a frenzy and decides to open a fan club in honor of the rock star. Soon the fan club, of which Patty becomes president, spreads throughout Genoa City and comes to the attention of the singer, honored for Patty's initiative. Danny and Patty, thus, start dating regularly during the musician's performances and it doesn't take long before the girl falls in love with the boy. As time goes by, Carl and Mary's anxieties and fears grow, frightened by their daughter's circle.
