1977 (#11) - Liz's memory and David's unrequited love for Jill
When Snapper returns home, everyone welcomes Snapper with open arms. Liz has regained her memory for some time now and, although she wanted to confess everything to exonerate her son, he had firmly refused. In the end, everything worked out for the best, and finally the whole Family can return to live with joy in the memory of their father, putting all the tribulations of the last months behind them. During this time, David was welcomed by all the members of the family, happy to have a beneficiary of Bill's generosity near them. Soon, David was fascinated by the young Jill, who was single after Phillip's death and forced to raise Phillip Jr. alone. Encouraged by Liz, who would like a husband for her daughter, David stepped forward and proposed to Jill to give a father to her child. Jill is honored by the proposal, but realizes that she does not love the man and cannot marry without being in love.
