1976 (#8) - The friendship with Leslie and the attraction between Lance and Lorie

While in Paris for a performance, Leslie was surprised to meet her old friend Lance Prentiss in the audience. Handsome, rich and above all a bachelor, Lance is co-owner of Prentiss Industries, and he lives in his property not far from Lake Geneva. Between Lance and Leslie, in the past, there was a short but intense love story that Lance immediately brings to mind, making the woman understand that she has not forgotten her. However, Leslie tells him that she is married and that her heart now belongs to Brad; however, she invites Lance to visit her in the United States, convinced that Lorie could like the man, Leslie had long ago made peace with Lorie, putting the matter of the book behind them. Some time later, therefore, Lance arrives in Genoa City, having moved to his summer villa in the city. During a dinner party, Lance confesses to Leslie that he hasn't forgotten her yet and that he loves her, but Leslie reminds him that she is married and, introduces Brad to him, she also talks about her sister Lorie with him, confirming her idea that Lorie would certainly be attracted by the man. Leslie's impressions, in fact, are not wrong. In their first encounter, combined by Leslie, a doubtful Lance, convinced of not wanting to settle for a second choice of Leslie, is struck by Lorie’s beauty, who is also incredibly impressed by the man. Soon, therefore, the two understand that they have much in common, from the desire to continuously search for emotions to the desire to go on exotic adventures. Between them there is a sparkling harmony that only creates and increases their mutual desire for each other. Soon their story turned out to be an extraordinary love story.
