1976 (#7) - End of the relationship with Bruce and reunion between Jennifer and Stuart

Back in Genoa City, Lorie spent a lot of time with Jennifer. The initial anger towards her mother soon fades and turns into curiosity and thirst for truth. Jennifer explains how Stuart is unaware of this and that under no circumstances should he know about it, as he would suffer too much. Jennifer also explains with the birth of Lorie the special bond that she has always had with Bruce since before she met Stuart; a bond that has always been opposed by destiny but that has continued even after her marriage to Stuart and Lorie is proof of this. The girl agrees with her mother in wanting to keep Stuart, the only father she ever really knew and had, in the dark about the matter. Going back to the mother's current situation, meanwhile, Bruce would like to spend more time with the woman, but Jennifer, convinced that she is no longer attractive, rejects the man and confesses that she no longer wants to see him. Lorie then tries to convince her mother not to give up and not to throw away such an important love, wanting to have the chance to get to know her father better, but in the end Jennifer decides to end the story definitively, convinced that since she's living the best thing is to reunite the family and come back with Stuart: she has always made this choice in her life, that is putting Bruce's love aside because of destiny. Stuart is happy to be with the woman he loves, and everyone, starting with Leslie and Chris are happy to see their parents together again, celebrating their 30th anniversary. And in their hearts, knowing all of Jennifer's health conditions, which are unfortunately destined to get worse, they try to enjoy as much as possible these precious moments that will carry them forever in their hearts.
