The only dark face at Leslie and Brad's wedding was obviously Lorie's. The woman, in fact, is forced to admit to herself that she still loves Brad and cannot forget him, despite her attempts to do so by starting new love adventures. The relationship with Jed, moreover, became more and more problematic for the girl, since the man tries in every way to avoid going out publicly with the girl and to open up to her. Unaware that Jed has a wife and a marriage, Lorie is very disappointed when Jed decides not to come to Brad and Leslie's wedding; determined to get an explanation from the man, eventually a shocked Lorie finds out the whole truth about Jed and immediately decides to end their relationship. Jed's attempt to convince the girl that his relationship with Betty is at an ending and that he's only in love with her, is useless: Lorie doesn't want to know anything about it and concentrates on getting out of the way of their marriage and tries to encourage the renewal of a feeling between the two of them. Lorie thus befriends Betty, naturally without revealing her identity, and does not fail to give her advice on how to turn on the passion between her and her husband, now more and more convinced by Lorie to forget about her to focus on his family. Finally, Jed and Betty find love again, and Lorie, happy to have given love and joy to a couple in crisis, decides to go on with her life, optimistic that sooner or later she too will find her true love.
