1975 (#16) - Mark’s impotence and the engagement with Lorie

Lorie's interest in Mark did not take long to manifest itself. The two of them were dating regularly and it didn't take Lorie long to fall in love with him. Also pushed by her friend Brock, Lorie was now determined to seduce the man. However, although Mark showed that he appreciated the woman's company, he did not seem ready to accept a relationship with her, as he firmly rejected any attempt of seduction on Lorie's part. Lorie could not understand the boy's resistance, especially when he confirmed that he liked her. When Lorie asks the young man about his intentions regarding them, Mark reluctantly confesses to Lorie that he has evidently become impotent by not feeling any sexual attraction towards her despite his love feelings. So Mark says he doesn't want to start a relationship with her to make her suffer. Lorie, then, shows all her love for Mark when she says that it is much more important for her to be in his company than with any other man; moreover, she promises to help him solve the problem by knowing an effective sensory technique learned in Paris. The two of them, more in love than ever, decide to get engaged, even though they still can't make love.
