Despite her marriage to Pierre, Sally is not happy because she is carrying in her womb the child of the man she loves, Snapper, but she cannot reveal it to anyone, nor can she prevent him from marrying Chris, with whom he is madly in love. In this difficult time Brad's friendship has played a fundamental role for Sally, as it does not fail to give her support and advice. Sally is torn between hurting Chris or her new husband Pierre, with whom, by the way, she has not yet consummated the marriage. Pierre, in this regard, is increasingly impatient and less understanding, even going so far as to threaten to end their short marriage quickly if she had not immediately shared the nuptial bed with him. Fearing that the whole thing might come to light, a frightened Sally then makes love to Pierre, who represents her whole life, from work to marriage, and towards whom, even though she does not love him, she feels a great affection and sense of gratitude for everything he has done for her. But soon, encouraged by Brad, Sally decides not to resign herself to giving up Snapper and is convinced that keeping the man in the dark about the fatherhood of the child is a mistake. Liz, having learned of Snapper's betrayal from Stuart, expresses her appreciation for Sally's decision not to inform her son, but changes her attitude when Sally herself informs her of her intention to reveal the whole truth. Furious, Liz tells Sally to not speak out for Snapper's sake, he accidentally overhears their phone conversation and realizes he is the father of the child Sally is carrying. Run straight to Sally, she admits the truth to Snapper but, with extreme pain, tries to push the boy away by lying, telling him that she has deliberately chosen to be with Pierre, that she loves him and that he believes he is the father. Snapper, completely confused and twisted. Liz is happy for Sally's painful but right decision to reject the man, but Sally certainly doesn't feel like celebrating. Completely depressed at having herself pushed away the man she loves, she is consoled, as far as he can, by Pierre, who advises Sally to leave to avoid attending Snapper and Chris' wedding. The woman understands that this is for the best and the two of them go on holidays.
