1973 (#7) - Leslie’s piano career and the first encounter with Brad

Brad gets to know Leslie and the two begin to cultivate a great friendship. Brad seems to have a special talent in pulling Leslie out of her shyness shell and finally making her smile. Soon Brad and Leslie get closer and it becomes increasingly evident that a great love is growing between them. The only problem between the two is that Brad , despite Leslie’s requests, didn’t like to talk about his past. No one among Brad’s acquaintances in Genoa city knows exactly what this man did before entering their lives. Despite this, Leslie really likes this aura of mystery that surrounds him and convinced of Brad’s honesty and thanks to his gentle character, since he entered her life everyday she falls more and more in love with him. Leslie realized that a piano career.isn’t the most important thing in her life. Although Brad was the one who advised her not to make the piano the most important thing in her world, he is excited when Leslie is chosen by Ernesto Fautch, who Leslie always admired, as a soloist for the Mid-America Autumn Symphony. Leslie’s parents and siblings are also proud of her; the good news makes Jennifer particularly happy, since Leslie will have to travel often to Chicago, this will leave opportunities for her mother to meet with Bruce Henderson, with whom she’s getting closer. Of course, Stuart doesn’t like it, because he’s arguing more often with Jennifer, until she decides to stop seeing Bruce.
