1991 (#5) - Drucilla's dance lessons, Olivia's demands and the deal with Neil

If on one hand Drucilla suffers from her unrequited feelings towards Nathan, who is now seriously involved with her sister, from another point of view the girl is living a relatively happy period. The girl, in fact, seems to have actually changed and is willing to settle down and find a job; this makes her aunt, Mamie, happy, who convinces her to pay for dance lessons from the famous former dancer and now teacher Estelle Chauvin. Drucilla can't believe her aunt's gift, and thanks her infinitely, promising to do her best to make her dream come true. In the meantime Olivia, who after graduating in Colorado has now a stable position at Genoa City Hospital, starts thinking about creating a daughter with Nathan; after all their relationship is now well established, strong and long-lasting enough to take this step towards consecration. Nathan, in this regard, seems a bit more skeptical, bringing forward mainly economic motivations that do not worry Olivia, who is mainly interested in making sure that Drucilla stays away from Nathan. In fact, Drucilla has not put aside her desire to conquer Nathan, even if in front of her sister's continuous accusations of stealing his man, Drucilla answers by inventing that she already has a boyfriend and asking her sister to stop accusing her of being a man-hunter. At Drucillia's claims, Olivia appears surprised and, if at first she is very defensive and apologizes to Drucilla, she soon begins to suspect that the girl has once again lied. Pressured by Olivia's demands that she meet her new boyfriend, Drucilla admits to herself that she's gotten herself into quite a bit of trouble. Since she must find a man to introduce to Olivia, Drucilla doesn't know what to do and decides to ask for help to the only person she can trust, Mamie. When she arrives at Jabot to meet the woman, Drucilla runs into a careless Neil Winters, an intern who bumps into the woman while she is not thinking and who immediately catches her attention. A wonderful understanding is born between the two, and so Drucilla tells the man all her problems, finally asking him to lend himself to play the part of her boyfriend. Neil, pleasantly impressed by the woman, immediately accepts the proposal. Drucilla is thus happy to introduce Olivia to her boyfriend, thus giving her sister a major setback.
