After having ended her relationship with Jim, Nikki realizes that she has strong feelings for Victor; feelings that have never really gone away and that now direct her towards the father of her children, Victoria and Nicholas, in order to reunite her family. Victor, on the other hand, is more determined than ever to win the woman back, convinced that she is the only one who is right for him. However, Jack wants to interfere with their upcoming reunion, and he tries to convince her in every way not to go back with the man who made her suffer so much. Jack, determined to get his personal revenge against the man who took away her business, and who has now seriously risked taking away his father who has suffered another heart attack, uses all his weapons at his disposal to seduce Nikki. The woman admits to being attracted to him but, while reproaching Victor for his past behaviors, she feels she can't stay away from the only man she's ever really loved. In the meantime, Victor, convinced that Nikki is now his and about to accept his wedding proposal that he will make to her that very evening, begins preparations at his ranch for the probable second marriage with Nikki. However, the man does not suspect that Jack has now insinuated himself into his relationship with Nikki, to the point of convincing her not to show up at the evening Victor has organized for her; Jack, in fact, seems to have now convinced the woman to desist from going back to her ex-husband, promising her a life full of love and emotions. And so, while an impatient and increasingly disappointed Victor waits in vain for his Nikki to propose to her, the latter is shocked and surprised by Jack's invitation to marry him the very next day. Nikki, completely overwhelmed by her astonishment, accepts with conviction after hearing Victor's angry rage against Jack over the phone. In front of three doubtful and somewhat perplexed John, Ashley and Traci, Jack marries the beautiful Nikki, who declares her "yes" in front of a desperate Victor, who wants to stop the wedding but is too late.
