At the Chancellor estate, an incredulous Marge is thrilled with her new life as Katherine. Fascinated by the luxury, riches and comfort of the affluent life, Marge enjoys the life of a lady, the life she has always dreamed of and longed for, and now it has finally come true. Taking Katherine's place also allows Marge to spend the night in bed with Rex, a man who is more than she could have dreamed of. However, it is precisely the enthusiasm for this unexpected good fortune that leads Marge to make a few too many careless mistakes that threaten to make Clint's diabolical plan fail. And so, very soon Rex is quite surprised and perplexed to notice in Katherine sudden memory lapses and some attitudes that he had never noticed before. The new Katherine, in fact, seems to have once again brought to light her old vices such as drinking and smoking, as well as presenting new aspects previously unknown to the man, such as often expressing herself in a vulgar manner and laughing loudly. And it is not long before the man begins to show first annoyed by the strange behavior of the woman, and then more and more worried about his health and mental state. Surprised more than several times to be drinking and partying with the new servants, an increasingly dismayed Rex begins to regret Esther's class and kindness in spite of Robert and Shirley, whom Rex himself considers the cause of his wife's changes. After having unsuccessfully tried to convince the woman to fire the two of them, the same man does not fail to notice the continuous attendance at Clint's house, with whom "Katherine" spends more and more time, unaware of the plots that Marge and Clint are plotting behind her back.
