1987 (#18) - Nikki's resentments and passionate betrayals with Jack

Completely stunned and disappointed by what she saw, which is Victor and Ashley... declaring eternal love, Nikki's blood is bubbling with hate, pain and anger. Nikki decides to exploit the situation to take revenge for Victor's betrayal. to make him suffer more than he ever did. The woman then decides not to to tell anyone about her recovery, not to her sister Casey, let alone to Victor, who still thinks Nikki's dying. Nikki thus begins to appear weaker and weaker, using a great deal of makeup to look sick and close to death. Victor, increasingly upset and stunned by Nikki's sudden deterioration, asks the woman to undergo further tests to get a second opinion. doctor; but the woman, worried that her fraudulent behavior, refuses reluctantly, confessing to a grieving man Victor that she has now accepted death. Victor is also shocked and increasingly distressed to see Nikki busy organizing her own funeral, and is bitterly moved when he finds and watches a videotape recorded shortly before by Nikki in which the woman says goodbye to Victor. Nikki, meanwhile, is excited about how her personal revenge against Victor is working out perfectly, and decides to celebrate with Jack, with whom she shares a picnic enjoying great food and obviously having great sex. Jack is amused to hear about Nikki's conspiracy, and also suggests that she could aim higher, for example by asking a guarantee for the future of her daughter Victoria. Clearly interested in Victor's assets, Jack talks to Nikki about the Mergeron, which Victor bought from Mark and Dina; Jack convinces Nikki to ask for a large part of the company to be registered in Victoria's name, so that she can inherit something from the donation of a substantial portion of the Mergeron equal to at least 51% of the property.
