1984 (#25) - The discovery of Traci's pregnancy and Tim's irresponsibility

Traci's college life is turned upside down when she finds out she's pregnant. Completely unprepared for such an event, Traci is scared and doesn't know how to react. Not knowing what to do, Traci confides to her friend Denise Follett the whole truth and this incites her to tell Tim immediately, although Traci does not hide her skepticism. But Traci's concerns are mostly directed towards her father, not knowing how John would react to such news. Ashley is the first to guess that Traci is pregnant and, at the increasingly insistent questions of this one, intrigued about who the father of the child is, Traci is eventually forced to reveal the whole truth, grasping Ashley's support for not telling John for the moment. Jack also gives his word to Traci about the secret, but at the same time contacts Paul to get him to investigate who this Tim is, since he doesn't trust him at all. Back in college after a weekend at home, where Traci feels much more convinced and ready to become a mom, the girl informs Denise that she is ready to finally talk to Tim, who has every right to know the truth. However, it is Traci who is bitterly surprised by Tim, discovered in bed with another student, Claudia Hogan. Traci runs away in tears and, even though she didn't want to be seen, she stumbles and makes Tim realize that he has been seen, so the man immediately makes his way to her, but Traci doesn't want to talk to him. It is only by praying several times Denise that Tim finally manages to meet Traci, who pulls out all his anger and informs him, before throwing him out, that she is pregnant with his child. After repeatedly asking Traci for forgiveness, in the end Tim admits that he is not ready to become a father and, above all, confesses that it is a real passion for him to hang out with his female students. Completely disgusted by the man, Traci chases him away, before ending up crying in Denise's arms, which incites her to return to her family and raise her baby. With Ashley's support, then, Traci announces to John, Dina and Jack that she is expecting a baby, news that is welcomed as a sign of love and happiness. It is Jack, finally, who takes revenge on his sister, going to confront Tim with a violent punch.
