1973 (#11) - Sally’s pregnancy and the news of Susan’s death for leukemia

During the break up Chris, Snapper starts seeing Sally more frequently. Sally, madly in love with him, tries to trap him with a pregnancy. So she decides to get off of birth control pills, without saying anything to Snapper, who in the meantime is determined as he never has been to regain the love of Chris. And so, at the exact moment when Sally discovers that she is pregnant with Snapper’s baby, he manages to win back Chris, who eventually gives up and agrees to come back together with the love of her life. Snapper asks Chris to marry him, making the girl very happy. When Snapper announces to Sally about the upcoming wedding, she, devastated decides not to reveal anything about her pregnancy in order not to ruin his life. Completely devastated, Sally falls in desperation, to the point she was at risk of an overdose. It is Brad who rushes to save her, begging her to think about the baby is carrying in her womb. Sally tries to get back in touch with Frank Martin to ask him if he was still interested in his proposal to reunite their family, but this time he too leaves Sally surprised when he reveals that he is engaged with Jane and that he would soon marry her. Sally is shocked by the news and the fact that Frank was suddenly no longer interested in her, but soon she finds out the reason: Susan died of leukemia and all Frank wants is to leave the past behind. A desperate Sally, she finds herself crying on the only shoulder that seems to want to listen to her: the good Pierre, who promises to stay close to her in this very difficult period confirming that he will always be there for her.
